Indiana Sports Corp provides various programs and grant opportunities for the community.

Team Indiana Grant Program

Team Indiana Grants are available for tourism or sports-related organizations hosting events in Indiana. The goal of the grant program is to assist communities in attracting and growing high quality sports events to generate significant economic impact through participant spending. The maximum grant per event is $20,000 to be paid as a reimbursement. Funding is provided from the Indiana Destination Development Corporation and administered by Indiana Sports Corp. A grant committee with statewide representation determines all grant awards.

VOICEINSPORT

Indiana Sports Corp has teamed up with VOICEINSPORT to provide mentorship with professional athletes, educational content on mind, body and nutrition, and in-app resources that allow for goal-setting and progress tracking like the VIS Journal and the Daily Mood Check-in.

VOICEINSPORT or VIS, is a member-only community for girls and women in sport (ages 13-23) that offers free digital mentorship from Professional Athletes (VIS Mentors) and educational woman athlete-specific content on topics such as mind, body and nutrition. The goal of the digital platform is to help young women athletes stay in sport.

Through the ISC x VIS partnership, we will provide 20,000 Premium Memberships for girl athletes across the state of Indiana. This includes free Mentoring sessions with Indiana Fever WNBA athletes Aliyah Boston and Brianna Turner!

To unlock all of the free resources, use the ISC x VIS custom link to sign up at VOICEINSPORT. Once signed up,download the VIS app to access all of the in-app resources that VIS offers. Parents and coaches can sign up here to view the content and receive the MoreVIS newsletter however, they will not be granted full access to the community or the VIS App.

Wayne Duke Postgraduate Award

The Wayne Duke Postgraduate Award is an annual scholarship recognizing one male and one female Big Ten senior for exceptional achievement in academics, athletics, and civic service. The Wayne Duke Postgraduate Award is merit-based and features a one-time, non-renewable financial award. For 2026, each Award is $10,000. Awards will be funded directly to the recipient’s postgraduate institution upon verification of enrollment within eighteen months of graduation.

Application now open. Submission deadline is January 22, 2026.

Classroom Resource Grants

In 2025, the Big Ten Conference, College Football Playoff Foundation, and Indiana Sports Corp offered a grant opportunity to support innovative teaching and learning in Indiana. 

Grant recipients were selected by the Big Ten Conference and Indiana Sports Corp, and received up to $4,000 via a DonorsChoose.org gift card, courtesy of the College Football Playoff Foundation.
