Indianapolis Indians Charities to match donations Oct. 2–Nov. 12, up to $15,000, to ignite a love of reading across Indiana.
INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana Sports Corp on Thursday announced a new partnership with Indianapolis Indians Charities to strengthen its Team Up for Literacy campaign. From Oct. 2-Nov. 12, Indianapolis Indians Charities will match every donation dollar-for-dollar, up to $15,000, helping accelerate statewide efforts to support literacy efforts, students, and families through the power of sport.
Launched by Indiana Sports Corp, Team Up for Literacy is a statewide fundraising effort to expand and strengthen literacy programs already making a difference across Indiana. Team Up for Literacy mobilizes community partners to put more books in the hands of kids, support teachers, and inspire students in and out of the classroom.
Indianapolis Indians Charities, the 501(c)(3) arm of the Indians established in 2019, focuses on four pillars, youth development, family success, education, and neighborhood development, and supports local nonprofits throughout Central Indiana. Since its founding, IIC and its signature community efforts have contributed more than $1 million to local causes.
