INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Sports Corp, in partnership with Leadership Indianapolis and The Exchange at the Indianapolis Urban League, today announced Leading the Legacy: Volunteer & Leadership Pathways, a powerful new engagement event designed to activate volunteers and inspire civic leadership. The event will be held on Dec. 3 from 4:00–6:30 PM at the IU Indianapolis Campus Center, providing behind-the-scenes perspectives from Local Organizing Committee (LOC) leaders and creating immediate pathways for attendees to become part of Indianapolis’ championship tradition.

From college students and young professionals to civic leaders, longtime volunteers, and community champions, everyone has a role to play in shaping Indianapolis’ championship legacy. Attendees are encouraged to explore how they can be part of Indy’s legacy through various volunteer and leadership opportunities surrounding the 2026 NCAA® Men’s Final Four® and beyond. Event Highlights Include:

  • Volunteer & Leadership Pathways – Attendees will learn how to volunteer for the 2026 NCAA® Men’s Final Four®, how to serve as a Point Guard lead volunteer, and apply for leadership roles with the 2028 NCAA® Women’s Final Four® Local Organizing Committee (LOC), the 2028 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Swimming LOC, and the 2029 NCAA® Men’s Final Four® LOC.
  • Panel: Meet the LOC – Hear from leaders across five LOC divisions, Education, Innovation, Outreach, Stakeholder Relations, and Tournament Experience, about their journeys and what it takes to deliver world-class events.
  • Networking & Engagement Zone – Connect with sports and civic leaders and explore volunteer stations.
