INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana Sports Corp announces the return of the She Creates Sports Summit presented by Group 1001, taking place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Industrious at the Stutz. The second annual event will once again bring together female creatives, storytellers, and innovators who are shaping the future of sports.
Building on the success of its inaugural year, the summit will feature sessions focused on critical topics and trends in sports media and creative industries, including real-time storytelling, photography, digital content creation, and the growing influence of women in sports. Attendees will have access to insights from industry leaders and executives across professional sports organizations.
"The She Creates Sports Summit represents our commitment in action as we work toward our 2050 Vision to make Indiana the women's sports capital of the world," said Sarah Myer, Chief of Staff & Strategy at Indiana Sports Corp. "By investing in the women creatives and storytellers who shape how sports are experienced, we're not only building the leadership infrastructure essential to a thriving women's sports ecosystem but also fostering connections and amplifying voices that will elevate the entire industry."
The summit welcomes women working in sports – whether at a sports organization or an adjacent partner organization – who share a passion for the intersection of creativity and sports. Creativity in sports plays across all departments of an organization, from operations to media to marketing to events and programming. She Creates Sports aims to integrate teams as a way to elevate the creative and storytelling available in a sports setting.
“We’re honored to be the presenting sponsor of the She Creates Sports Summit this year and to provide an opportunity for women creatives in the sports field to network with like-minded professionals and learn from industry leaders,” said Mike Nichols, Chief of Sponsorship Strategy and Activation at Group 1001. “We aim to invest in sports and education for girls and women across the country through various initiatives, and this event is an incredible way to further that mission right here in our corporate hometown.”
Welcome Mixer at Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament
In addition to the summit, She Creates Sports will host a welcome mixer on March 5, 2026, during the Allstate Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament, providing attendees an additional networking opportunity to connect with fellow creatives and industry professionals.
A full lineup of speakers and panelists will be announced in the coming weeks. Registration is now open at www.indianasportscorp.org/shecreatessports. For information about corporate sponsorships, please contact creative@indianasportscorp.org.
