INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Sports Corp announced today that the She Creates Sport Summit presented by Group 1001 will feature a keynote address from Gainbridge Super Leage President, Amanda Vandervort.
Vandervort serves as President of the Gainbridge Super League, a Division I women’s professional soccer league redefining the future of women’s soccer in the United States. She leads strategic development, championing innovation, investment, and inclusion across the league. Prior to joining USL, Vandervort served as Chief Women’s Football Officer at FIFPRO, where she led strategy, policy, and stakeholder relations. Vandervort has spent nearly a decade with Major League Soccer, holding executive roles as Vice President of Social Media and CRM and Vice President of Fan Engagement. In 2016, she was named Sports Business Game Changer in recognition of her innovative leadership in sports. Vandervort has been a lifelong advocate for women’s soccer, serving on the United Soccer Coaches Board of Directors for 10 years and became the fifth female President in the Association’s 75-year history.
She has been a featured speaker at several leading sports business conferences and events, including Leaders in Football, World Football Summit, FIFA World Cup Symposiums in Germany 2011 and Canda 2015, and the FIFA Women’s World Cup Convention in France 2019. Vandervort will now add the 2026 She Creates Sport Summit to her distinguished list of global speaking engagements, further reinforcing her leadership and influence across the sports landscape.
The second annual She Creates Sports Summit presented by Group 1001 will be held on Friday, March 6, from 9 AM to 4:30 PM EST at VisionLoft Stutz. The second annual event will once again bring together female creatives, storytellers, and innovators who are shaping the future of sports. Building on the success of its inaugural year, the summit will feature sessions focused on critical topics and trends in sports media and creative industries, including real-time storytelling, photography, digital content creation, and the growing influence of women in sports.
