COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo./INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – USA Swimming, the National Governing Body for the sport of swimming in the United States, today announced the launch of single-day tickets for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Swimming, slated for June 15-23, 2024. Single-day tickets are on sale here.
New for 2024 and to align with the competition schedule in Paris, the event includes nine days of competition with 17 sessions (eight preliminaries, nine finals). Single-day tickets start at $49 and give fans access to preliminary and finals sessions on a chosen day. With a multi-pool configuration, Lucas Oil Stadium will seat 30,000 fans, with opening night staged to set the record for the largest swim meet in history.
“Single-day tickets offer USA Swimming fans the ultimate flexibility when planning their trip to Indianapolis next summer,” USA Swimming President and CEO Tim Hinchey III said. “With nine days of competition, tickets starting under $50, and group ticket offerings, we have a plan for every fan. We look forward to hosting the fastest swim meet in the world to name the team of American swimmers headed to Paris.”
Indianapolis hosted the Trials in 1924 when the Olympic team swam in Paris. One hundred years later, the Trials are back in Indianapolis to select the Paris 2024 Olympic Games team.
“In Indianapolis, we are known for hosting major sporting events, and the innovation we’ve been able to dream up with USA Swimming to host these Trials in Lucas Oil Stadium makes this a must-see event,” Indiana Sports Corp President Patrick Talty said. “With the location and accessibility of Indy, swimming fans and families will get the chance to experience history, and our community could not be more excited for this opportunity as all lanes lead to Indy.”
Three temporary pools – two 50-meter and one 25-meter – will be installed over the field in Lucas Oil Stadium, the first time a swim meet will occupy an NFL stadium. The Indiana Convention Center, connected to the stadium and many downtown hotels, will host USA Swimming’s Toyota Aqua Zone, an interactive fan-activation and retail area. USA Swimming House presented by OneAmerica, a vibrant hospitality hub, and USA Swimming Live serve to offer elevated experiences for fans.
The USA Swimming Foundation is offering all-inclusive packages and VIP tickets. For questions, please contact 719-866-3587.
