INDIANAPOLIS – Tip times and broadcast partners for the 2024 Indy Classic powered by Sports Tech HQ taking place December 14 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse were announced on Wednesday with Purdue taking on Texas A&M at noon ET on CBS followed by Butler facing Wisconsin at 2:30 PM ET on Big Ten Network. Tickets for the third annual Indy Classic are currently on sale through Ticketmaster.com.

Indiana Sports Corp, Pacers Sports & Entertainment, and Russ Potts Productions, Inc. partner to host this annual basketball showcase that focuses on bringing the top collegiate basketball teams to Indianapolis to compete in a marquee doubleheader. The Indy Classic serves as an annual fundraiser for Indiana Sports Corp’s non-profit mission.

“Indiana’s sports tradition is unparalleled, and at Sports Tech HQ, we’re proud to build on that foundation by powering the 2024 Indy Classic,” said Jeffrey Hintz, Executive Director of Sports Tech HQ. “We are looking forward to showcasing the latest in sports technology at this marquee event.”

In just its third season, Indy Classic has already solidified itself as one of the premier college basketball events in the country. Last year in front of a sellout crowd of 17,135, third-ranked Purdue defeated top-ranked Arizona, 92-84, and 2024 NIT runner-up Indiana State earned a hard-fought win over in-state foe Ball State, 83-72.

Indy’s history in hosting college basketball is unmatched and extensive, including 25 Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournaments, 13 Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournaments, a leading eight Men’s Final Fours, three Women’s Final Fours, and numerous Regional and First and Second Round games of the NCAA tournament. This history also includes hosting the entirety of the 2021 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship - the only city to do so.
