INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana Sports Corp is proud to announce and welcome Patrick Talty as Chief Operating Officer. Talty comes to Indiana Sports Corp with more than 20 years of experience in the event and venue management industry and was most recently the general manager of U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN. Talty will oversee the strategic direction of three departments: events, marketing and public relations and youth programs. In addition, he will contribute to the strategic planning and direction of the organization and play a lead role with relationship management, bidding and organizational best practices. “Patrick comes to Indiana Sports Corp with a vast array of experience that is vital to our organization and upcoming event schedule,” said Ryan Vaughn, president of Indiana Sports Corp. “We are excited to have him be part of our team and look forward to the expertise in the business that he will provide.” In his previous role as general manager of U.S. Bank Stadium, Talty was responsible for the overall management and operation of the stadium. Talty successfully led his team through the opening and first year of operations at the stadium, followed by subsequent years hosting premier sporting events including the 2016 International Champions Cup, Vikings home games, Super Bowl LII and most recently the 2019 NCAA Men’s Final Four. During his time, U.S. Bank Stadium also received several awards including the Meet Minneapolis 2017 Innovation in Tourism award, the Stadium Business Awards 2017 Best New Venue and the Green Sports Alliance 2018 Innovator of the Year award for its zero-waste Super Bowl. Talty began his career in Indianapolis at the Indiana Convention Center and RCA Dome. In 2006, he was named Assistant General Manager of the University of Phoenix Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals and annual Fiesta Bowl. He went from Arizona to Abu Dhabi, UAE, where Talty became Zayad Sports City’s General Manager. Prior to U.S. Bank Stadium, Talty was the Senior Vice President of Live Events for WWE and managed more than 450 global live events.
